I am a sophomore and looking for some type of quiet job to get some extra cash. Any tips or places on where and how I can apply?

I had the same question. Someone told me to apply to Baskin Robbins or any job with flexibility in customer service. Good luck!
If you have a certain skill I would see if you can use it. For example I鈥檓 also 16 and I鈥檝e played the piano since I was 5. I started teaching piano lessons and I currently teach 4 kids. This is great because 1. I can pick exactly when I want them to be and 2. You can make way more money per hour doing something like this than a normal high school job that will almost always pay minimum wage-$15 an hour. So if you know how to play an instrument or think you could tutor elementary-age students, you could try that! Only catch is finding a location to do it at. More ideas that are flexible but not steady is babysitting or doing yard work for people. Most people I know that work steady jobs work as hostesses at restaurants or cashiers or something like that. You can usually call them or physically go there to see if they鈥檙e hiring

But customer service is a "noisy" job as it requires a lot of customer interaction. Is there anything that doesn't really involve customer interaction.
