how to save while in uni?

I'm interested in types of uni part time jobs where i can earn money whilst not compromising my time - I will be a future med student.

obv i can work in somewhere in like a cafe or mc donalds but r there any other options maybe like from home?

If you can do something by yourself like tutoring, editing, or teaching music lessons, those might be your best options. You could choose your own hours and do it from home.

I agree, another thing is transcribing audio/video into text as well

hmm tutoring and transcribing sounds gd for me...how do I get started though because I actually did apply for a transcribing job but they haven't responded for so long now and I did contact back to see how my application was going along however I still haven't recieved any response. Not sure what went wrong in the application perhaps too young - I'm 16. Do I need a reference maybe?

Letter of reference would make it easier, but depending on the field, they might consider you to young (like with HIPAA or whatever). For tutoring, I would suggest reaching out to groups that involve lots of children, especially if you have some connection to them (schools, churches, day care centers) and using social media to advertise.
