Go to studentaid.gov and fill out your FAFSA, in October or after. That will give you federal aid through the PELL Grant, Work Study, and Federal Loans. Most colleges will also consider you for need-based and merit based aid based just on your college application, as long as you send them your FAFSA. However, you can also search your college's name followed by "financial aid" or "scholarships" to see if there is anything else you need to apply for.
